About Me

I am a twenty-something southern girl who has been moving from place to place for my family, for love and for my career. In the past 5 years I have lived in Charleston, SC, Johnson City, TN, Washington, DC and Nashville TN.  I recently found myself moving once again and  living in the midwest.  I am in Columbus, OH working as an Investigator and I work on death penalty cases.

Other than work I like to take my dogs to the park and hangout with my friends and family.  I love going on road trips and I am always working on 100 projects at the same time.  I played softball in college and am in a constant state of trying to get back into shape. 

When I moved to Nashville my boyfriend, Alex, was traveling a lot for work.  I didn't know many people so  I decided I would put some energy into learning how to cook a little more often.  Luckily, I ended up really enjoying being in the kitchen and now I have decided to document my attempt of creating a home.

The goal of my blog is to share ideas that I have gotten from others as well as my own ideas. I seem to be most interested in sharing attempts at recipes and DIY projects around the house.
